January 21, 2026 (Greater Noida, India) – A high-level delegation from Wipro GE Healthcare, the joint venture between Wipro Limited and GE Healthcare, visited the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) Medical Devices Park in Sector-28, Gautam Budh Nagar, to assess the progress of India’s emerging medical manufacturing hub and evaluate future investment and expansion possibilities.
The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts by YEIDA to position the park — spread across roughly 350 acres — as a globally competitive manufacturing and export centre for medical technologies, including components, finished devices, and supporting infrastructure. Officials from the delegation conducted detailed site inspections of the park’s infrastructure and the Common Scientific Facilities being developed to support production, testing, and research capabilities.
YEIDA representatives highlighted the park’s strategic advantages, noting its proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport (Jewar), planned Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) links, dedicated rail connectivity and direct access to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) — all features expected to streamline logistics, supply chains and export potential for resident firms.
“We appreciate the advanced infrastructure and integrated ecosystem that YEIDA is building here, which could significantly support future manufacturing and export activities,” commented a Wipro GE Healthcare spokesperson during the visit.
Key Highlights of the Visit
- A senior Wipro GE Healthcare delegation toured the YEIDA Medical Devices Park site to review infrastructure readiness.
- Inspection included the park’s Common Scientific Facilities and integrated manufacturing ecosystem.
